From time to time I get asked to teach at local music colleges such as Blatchington Mill and the Institute of Modern Music in Brighton. My classes tend to revolve around how to best promote a new and upcoming band in its (adopted) hometown environment. Teaching to a classroom of music students is not without it’s difficulties and is actually a lot like playing a live show, wherein the art of retaining the attention of your audience is crucial to getting your point across. I really enjoy these lessons and like to think that the subject matter is both interesting and relevant to the next generation of budding musical geniuses.
Schools and colleges feel free to get in touch…!
P.S BIMM’s pop quiz evenings are brilliant. Yes, my team have won it. Once.
